Configuring the Printer Driver Settings (Macintosh)

Quality Menu

1. Media Type

Select the paper type.

Note: If selecting other than Plain Paper for the Media Type, the printer driver will select the

Bypas s Tray if Auto Select Tray was selected as the Paper source within the General menu

(see page 89).

2. Resolution

Select the resolution you want for printing (300/600/1200dpi Enhanced).

3. Toner Save (For DP-180/190 only)

This setting saves toner by reducing its consumption, and it is cost-effective when printing many draft

copies prior to the final document.
